Abstract

631,416. Interrupters. TUTTLE & KIFT, Inc. July 16, 1947, No. 18993. Convention date, Jan. 2, 1940. [Class 38(v)] A multiple circuit controller having a separate control for each circuit for supplying current for selectively variable lengths of time to a number of heating elements, comprises four identical switch elements mounted around a motor-driven cam 16 to be successively actuated thereby. Each switch element comprises a contact blade 19a adapted to be moved by the cam 16 away from a co-operating contact blade 30a which is adjustable by a manuallyoperable cam 25a to vary the period of contact from constant engagement to constant disengagement. A second cam 35a carried on the manually-operable shaft 26a actuates a blade 35a carrying a contact 40a adapted to bridge two contacts 41a, 42a, whereby the circuit of the cam-driving motor 14, and the respective heater, are opened when the control knob 28a is in the " off position.
