757,344. Rotary switches. DIAMOND H SWITCHES, Ltd. Sept. 14, 1954 [Sept. 17, 1953], No. 25737/53. Class 38(5) A cam-operated switch for controlling a two-element heating unit has contacts 10, 12 on blades 2, 3 controlled by projections 26, 28 on the face of a cam 5, the edge of which controls a blade 1. The latter is coupled by an insulating bar 32 to a blade 30 carrying a contact 34 controlling a pilot lamp. Contact 10 has a central "off" position between two fixed contacts 11, 19. The various fixed contacts 11, 15, 19 and 36 may be of copper strip with silver inlays or may be silver contacts riveted to brass members.
