Abstract
463,376. Dispensing liquids. SOLLINGER, H. Aug. 4, 1936, No. 21431. Convention date, March 18. [Class 102 (ii)] [Also in Groups XVII and XVIII] In apparatus for dispensing beer &c., the glass is pressed against a pad 8 and is subjected to the suction of an air pump 2 through a pipe 10, valve 19 and pipe 18. The air pump is actuated by a rack 21 gearing with a pinion on a shaft 23, which is driven from a shaft 28 through a chain-and-sprocket wheels, the shaft being rotated by a crank handle 5 through toothed wheels 30, 29. The beer is supplied to the glass from the beer barrel through pipes 12, 11 controlled by a cock 4, which is opened with delayed action by a toothed segment 31 on the shaft 28 gearing with a toothed wheel 34 on the spindle of the cock. The segment 31 is coupled to the shaft 28 by a clutch operated by a hand lever 32. Air and carbon dioxide withdrawn from the glass are discharged by the pump 2 into the beer barrel through a valve 17, pipe 16, air filter 3 and pipe 15.
