Abstract
468,224. Transferring liquefied gases. RACKOW, W. A. K. Dec. 31, 1935, Nos. 36091 and 36092. Convention dates, Dec. 31, 1934 and Feb. 1, 1935. [Class 102 (ii)] Liquefied gas is transferred from a vessel a to a vessel b connected with it by pressure and suction conduits c, d, a pump e being provided in the suction conduit, which conduit opens into the vessel b at the height to which the vessel is to be filled. The pressure conduit h, Fig. 3, and the suction and overflow conduit h<1> may be connected to the vessel b through a chamber n releasably connected with the vessel b with which it communicates through a manually operable valve r. Two or more vessels to be filled may be connected in series, the pressure conduit of one being attached to the suction conduit of another.
