[Class 8 (ii).] Liquefied gas contained in a storage vessel 3 is vaporized in a vessel 2 surrounding the storage vessel from which it is delivered through a siphon 11 under the pressure of the gas above the liquid level; a valved pipe 12 connecting the two vessels their difference of pressure to be adjusted and so also the rate of flow of liquid. An apertured sheath 6 is provided to cause a flow of cold gas along the wall and to limit evaporation when the apparatus is out of use. Vaporization is effected by a current of air, which may be warmed, or other fluid passing through ports 23, 24 in the outer casing 1, which are controlled by slides. The gas is delivered to points 15 for utilization, or to a gas-holder 17.
