462,914. Raising liquids. LAKE, F. G. Sept. 27, 1935, No. 26694. [Class 102 (ii)] In apparatus for raising liquids by compressed air, a vent 23, controlled by a float valve, is arranged in the rising main 16, 161. The pipe 16 discharges into the upper part of a chamber 17, which discharges through a flap valve 20 to the pipe 16<1>. The air vent 23 is controlled by a valve 22, carried by a float 18, moving between guides 19. A centre tube 28 communicates with the interior of the float at the top, and the bottom of the float has perforations 25. Specification 355,717 is referred to.
