Abstract

462,637. Electrical precipitation apparatus. TRIGGS, W. W. (Bolidens Gruvaktiebolag) June 10, 1936, No. 16239. [Class 39 (i)] In electrical precipitators or similar apparatus, the wire discharge electrodes 5 are freely suspended over supports 6 and are loaded at both ends by weights 7, 8 or springs so that in the event of breakage the two parts are pulled away from each other to prevent short-circuiting with the electrode 4 of opposite polarity.
