444,333. Electrical precipitation apparatus. STURTEVANT ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., 147, Queen Victoria Street, and WAGNER, H. W., 18, Welbeck Mansions, Hampstead, both in London. Nov. 1, 1934, No. 31361. [Class 39 (i)] In apparatus for the electrical precipitation of dust or other suspended matter from gas, the discharge electrodes E are disposed in rows transversely to the flow of the gas and the collecting electrodes A are in the form of strips each disposed in front of a discharge electrode and transversely to the gas stream. The discharge electrodes in successive rows are preferably disposed in staggered relation and the collecting electrodes may be of flat, concave, convex or channel formation.
