Abstract

458,578. Heating water. JUNKERS & CO., GES., 35, Junkerstrasse, Dessau, Anhalt, Germany. Sept. 18, 1936, No. 25429. Convention date, Sept. 20, 1935. [Class 64 (i)] In a tank 10 having a reinforced ring 31 carrying a detachable cover 35, the water inlet pipes 15, 16 and outlet 28 are connected to the reinforced ring. The cover has a passage 37 for an extension of the inlet 15 and has an eccentric annular wall 36 enclosing a float valve 22 controlling the main inlet 15. Water passes by an auxiliary inlet 16 through a throttle 18 connected to a chamber above a diaphragm 17 carrying a water control valve 14 and a gas valve 19, to the bottom 23 of the tank within an annular wall 25 with a gap 24. The water is boiled faster than it enters by pipe 16 and is discharged by steam pressure. When warm water is required, the valve 14 is byepassed by a valve 29. The tank has fins 11 and a casing 38. The connections may be made to the tank at a point furthest from the eccentric wall 36.
