454,670. Gas cooking-stoves. STOVES, Ltd., and RICHARDSON, W. H., Rainhill, near Liverpool. May 27, 1935, No. 15363. [Class 126] The burner 3 of a gas oven is disposed at or near the bottom, the gases from it passing between a guard plate 6 and a flue opening or openings 8 near the base, and rising between the guard plate and the wall to which it is adjacent. In the construction shown, the guard plate extends parallel to the rear wall of the oven, in front of a central flue outlet 8 and side outlets 9 which are formed in the rear wall. It is of a length substantially equal to that of the burner, but less than the width of the oven, and its lower edge lies slightly above the level of the top of the burner.
