Gas cooking- stoves; air supply for combustion; outlets to chimneys. - A gas oven is provided with a flue outlet a and a burner c, both at the rear, a partition f being arranged between them to enable the waste gases to pass from the oven without interfering with the combustion of the gas. In the construction shown, the tubular burner c is arranged in a recess at the back of the oven, one side of the recess being formed bv the inclined partition plate f, which serves also as a grease guard for the burner. The plate f does not extend the full width of the oven, in order to provide an opening at one or both ends for the waste gases to pass behind it to the outlet a. Preferably one or more additional outlets h are provided beneath the main outlet, opening directly to the atmosphere or to the main outlet. An air directing plate i is arranged in front of the burners, the upper edge of which .is preferably formed as an overhanging lip directed towards the oven interior and serving to protect the flames from air gusts entering the bottom of the oven.
