Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, June 13, 1935]: [Class 98 (i)] Fluorescent material for screens for cathode ray tubes and similar purposes comprises zinc sulphide, zinc cadmium sulphide, zinc manganese sulphide, or zinc cadmium manganese sulphide simultaneously activated by two or more different metals. The metals may be so chosen as to produce a white emission, for example, if the combined sulphides are activated with copper, which gives an emission maximum in the orange, and silver which gives one in the green, an approximation to white light is produced.
