453,104. Hair - curling appliances. SOLOMON, N. L., 2802, Avenue K, New York, U.S.A. March 23, 1936, No. 8674. Convention date, Jan. 10. [Class 131] A clip for ringlet curls consists of two discs 10, 11 rotatably carried by arms 19, 20 hinged together and actuated by a spring 29 to bring the discs into contact. Alternatively, the arms may be replaced by a pair of resilient arms. The discs are dished with their convex sides adjacent and are provided with corrugations near the centre to grip the end of the tress. The edges of the discs are notched for easy turning and holes 16 are provided for ventilation.
