Abstract

493,185. Hair - curling appliances. SOLOMON, N. L. Jan. 3, 1938, No. 139. Convention date, Aug. 14, 1937. [Class 131] A ringlet hair curler comprises a spring clasp 10 having apertures 18 through which a forked hair-winder 20 is inserted so as to straddle a portion of hair, the winder being then rotated so as to form the flat curl under pressure from the jaws of the clasp. The jaws may be curved, Fig. 8, and ribs 23 may radiate from the edge of the apertures. Fig. 9 shows another form of spring clip 10 for use with a similar winder. Specification 453,104 is referred to.
