[Class 131.] A hair-curling appliance comprises two perforated sheet metal elements a, b hinged together at c, the one element being of tubular form and the other of partially tubular form, and a loop of elastic cord g provided with a plug h adapted to engage within the open end of the tubular element a. The elements a, bare normally held closed by a spring d, and are provided with finger grips e. In use, the tress is gripped between and then wound around the elements a, b, the wound tress being retained in position by the cord g, which extends along both sides thereof.
