[Classes 12 (i) and 12 (iii)] A radial bearing has thrust rings 6 carrying end caps 8, 9. These enclose a grease cavity 10 which lubricates both the thrust faces by grooves 11 and the radial face by passages 25. The grease is forced outwardly by throwers 20 carried by the rotating part.
