450,786. Cylindrical journal bearings. BLACHE, H. H., 24, Margrethevej, Copenhagen. May 29, 1935, No. 15581. [Class 12 (i)] The bearing surface of a journal bush has a number of axial grooves 10, each of which connects by a central passage 6 with a surrounding oil chamber 5 out of contact with the rotating shaft. Oil from this chamber passes through the ports 13, annular grooves 12 and radial passages 14 to a central lubricant passage in the shaft from which it is distributed to the crank pins and connecting rods.
