Abstract

452,307. Brassieres. GREIG, J., 66, Gloucester Place, Portman Square, London. March 12, 1935, No. 7667. [Class 141] A brassiere comprises a one-piece body portion 1 preferably of elastic material which extends around the body of the wearer, and has its ends secured together at the middle of the wearer's back, and breast supports 4 which are secured to the upper edge of the portion 1, and support only the lower parts of the breasts. The breast supports 4 are strengthened by lines of sewing 5, and have tapes 7 secured thereto which are joined together above the breasts, and to a shoulder strap 8. In a modification, the edges of each breast support comprise two arcs, the lower arc having a shorter radius than that of the upper arc.
