Abstract

417,775. Brassieres. NORMAN, B. H., Brookside, Gardiner Street, Market Harborough, and SYMINGTON & CO., Ltd., R. & W. H., Market Harborough, Leicestershire. May 2, 1934, No. 13262. [Class 141.] A breast support comprises two breast pockets a connected by an elastic insertion c, preferably of inverted V-shape, near the waistline, and by an adjusting ribbon f at the upper parts, the breast pockets having lateral extensions connected at the back by a similar elastic insertion. The shoulder straps, which may be adjustable, pass from the apices of the breast pockets to either side of the back elastic insertion. The garment is provided with a side fastening, and the apertures for the shoulder straps and adjusting ribbon are strengthened by eyelets or buttonhole stitching. The breast parts are shaped by means of dart seams i. Specification 318,742, [Class 141], is referred to.
