Abstract
461,332. Bust supports. KEMP, V. F., and DEVELOPMENTS & IMPROVEMENTS, Ltd. Aug. 16, 1935, No. 23045. [Class 141] Bust supports are provided with a triangular part having its apex'secured to the support on a line passing vertically between the breasts and its other corners secured either to tapes on the support or to other parts whereby the triangular member is urged against the wearer's body. In the form shown, the triangular part is formed by extensions a<1>, b<1> of the breast parts a, b which are sewn together along a line c. The flaps a<1>, b<1> are fastened to tapes f secured to the outer ends of the breast parts ; they may be fastened to another garment. The triangular part may be formed separately and sewn to the bust support by a central line of stitches, or it may be replaced by a diamondshaped piece the lower end of which is secured to another garment. The triangular part may be made of elastic and the flaps secured in a stretched condition, to the front of the bust support.
