Abstract
394,555. Combination garments. GILDESGAME, L. L., Argee House, Roscoe Street, London. Oct. 29, 1932, Nos. 30411 and 33407. [Class 141.] A combination garment comprises a brassiere 2 formed of fabric pieces 1 connected at the back of the wearer by means of an elastic ribbon 3 and fastening 5, which is attached to the knickers 7 or to a skirt by means of diverging straps 6 extending from beneath the breasts of the wearer to the waistline in front and by adjustable shoulder straps 8 attached to the brassiere in front and carried down to the waistline of the knickers or skirt at the back, the straps 8 being slidably connected with the elastic back ribbon 3 of the brassiere 2. In a modification, knickers and skirt may both be provided, e.g. a piece attached inside the skirt portion being formed with leg holes and elastic to fit round the thigh to produce a form of concealed knickers.
