451,497. Spray carburetters. RANSFORD, A. J., 24, Southampton Buildings, Chancery Lane, London.-(Chan Sing Nam; 12, Sai Yeung Choy Street, Shamshuipo, Kowloon, Hong Kong) Jan. 3, 1935, No. 268. [Class 7 (iii)] In a carburetter having a single float chamber and a body provided with two ports controlled by the choke or other common member to connect the body with a petrol or a heavy oil supply, the latter supply passing through a vaporizing chamber, which may be exhaust heated, the heavy oil nozzle is adjustable as to distance from the body to vary the suction exerted upon it. A rotatable choke 7 in a body member 2 opens alternatively ports 5, 6 for light and heavy fuels respectively, the latter being supplied through a nozzle 23 at the end of a tube 22 adjustable longitudinally in a supply pipe 17 which is enclosed in an exhaust heated casing 13 and opens into the port 6 through a pipe 21.
