Abstract
Electron-emissive bodies for cathodes of cathode-ray tubes are made by sintering a mixture of metal powder and emissive material, preferably 20 per cent of tungsten and 80 per cent of barium oxide, by heating in a discharge in neon at ,1-10 mm. pressure.
