449,566. Insoles. GLOVER, W., 116, Melton Road North, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Jan. 24, 1935, No. 2356. [Class 17 (ii)] An insole for footwear comprises a foundation member a of tray-like form with an out-turned flange b to which is secured by adhesive or other means a top sock-like member c, the intervening space being occupied by resilient material such as felt or rubber. The resilient filling may be constructed of one or more sections such as d<1>, d<2> of material of different resiliencies. The insole may extend over the whole or only part of the sole and its thickness may vary along its length. Vent holes e are provided in the top or cover member c. In use, the upper leather is turned in and accommodated between the outsole and the flange member of the insole.
