Abstract
353,755. Slippers and like footwear. RADBURNE, J. W., Irchester Road, Rushden, Northamptonshire. Sept. 13, 1930, No. 27406. [Class 17 (ii).] A cover C for cushioning material is attached to the upper A of a slipper and, after the upper has been lasted and secured to an insole, the cushioning material E is inserted within the cover and the free edge C<2> is turned in and secured in position by adhesive. An outer sole is attached over the edge of the cover and the cushioning material, which may be provided at the heel only, or at its forepart, or over the whole length of the sole.
