H., 170, Great Hampton Row, both in Birmingham. Dec. 6, 1934, No. 35007. [Class 43] An adjusting slide for brace bands, webbing, &c., comprises two relatively movable parallel frames 1, 7 each having a single slot 2 or 8 to receive the main part 12 of the band, the frame 7 being connected to the return end 12a of the band so that pull on the latter will cause the slot of each frame to be overlapped by the edge of the other frame and the band gripped thereby. The frame 7 is formed with a pressed-out loop portion 13 for attachment to the return end 12a and flanges 14 for engaging the sides of the frame 1, detachment of the frames being prevented by projections 15 on the member 1 engaging a cross-bar 10 on the other.
