T., Birmingham Buckle Works, St. Paul's Square, Birmingham. July 6, 1935, No. 19326. [Class 43] [See also Group XXV] The non-adjustable end 3 of a belt is detachably connected to a box or prong buckle 4 by a snap fastening comprising a spring tongue 16 having bent up lugs 18 for engagement with apertures 12 in spaced overhanging guide flanges 10 of a member 9, one of the fastening elements being pivoted to the buckle frame and the other connected to the belt end 3 by a lever clip. The spring tongue is rolled over at the end to form a thumb piece 17.
