Abstract

475,662. Attaching buckles to belts &c. WALKER, Ltd., T., and WALKER, G. T. June 2, 1936, No. 15293. [Class 43] [Also in Group XXV] Buckles are attached to belts, bands and the like by two plates attached to the buckle frame and to the belt end respectively, one of the plates 8 having a narrow portion 8a and a wider portion 9, the other plate 3 having a pair of lugs 12 for engagement over the enlarged part 9 of the first plate. The portion 9 of the plate 8 may be the plane of the part 8a and its end may carry a keeper loop for the belt. A lever grip may attach the belt end to the plate 3. The portion 9 of the plate 8 may be tapered so as to prevent the plate 3 from slipping over it ; also the keeper loop may form a stop. Specification 446,197 is referred to.
