482,764. Hooks and eyes. WALKER, Ltd., T., and WALKER, G. T. Nov. 30, 1936, No. 32702. [Class 43] A hook fastener for use with an eye &c. on wearing-apparel comprises a hook member 3 carried by a plate 2 which is provided at its edge with integral lugs &c. 4 adapted to be passed through the material of the garment 1 and to be clenched over behind a separate clamping plate 5 which is provided with obliquely disposed slots 6 through which the lugs &c. 4 are passed before clenching over. The lugs &c. 4 are arranged diagonally of the plate 2, projecting from the four mitred corners, so that when they are clenched over they extend towards the centre thereof (Fig. 2).
