Abstract

445,525. Delivery apparatus for printing-machines. LONG, S. W. H., 18, Southend Road, Beckenham, Kent, and LAMSON STORE SERVICE CO., Ltd., 132, Cheapside, London. Nov. 20, 1935, No. 32144. [Class 100 (i)] A machine for delivering printed products 18 in batches of predetermined number comprises a conveyer 2 delivering the products in overlapping relation and a series of travelling carriers 13 in which the batches are collected, the carriers passing through apertures 20 in a fixed baffle plate 19 in front of which the products are delivered by the conveyer 2. The plate 19 is embodied in a machine as described in Specification 421,450, [Group IX]. Light spring fingers or an air blast may be provided to hold the products against the face of the plate 19 as they are delivered.
