444,620. Securing articles on shafts. CHAPMAN, W. G., 15, Rusham Park Avenue, Egham, and DUNNS' ENGINEERING WORKS, Ltd., Ten Acre Lane, Thorpe, near Chertsey, both in Surrey. Oct. 23, 1935, No. 29258. [Class 80 (ii)] A wheel, pulley, collar, or the like 3 is secured on a shaft 1 by means of a key 4 mounted in a diametral slot in the shaft and having a tapering recess 7 adapted to be engaged by the tapered end of a pin 10 screwed in a longitudinal bore in the shaft. The two limbs of the key may thus be forced apart to grip the interior of the wheel &c., or to engage in recesses therein.
