Abstract

207,239. Thompson, W. P., (Torrington Co.). Aug. 19, 1922. Suspension-spoke wheels.-A wheel spoke comprises a. body section of equal diameter throughout and end sections of large diameter and a tapered section having a long gradual slope between the body and end sections. The tapered section at one end may be extended to form the head itself as shown in Fig. 2, or a button head may be formed on the end of the spoke. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 16482/92 and 4388/97.
