443,941. Rotary pumps. GUINNESS, E. E., c/o Fluvario Co., Sedgley Road West, Tipton, and ELWELL, M., The Laurels, Tipton Road, Woodsetton, both in Staffordshire, and WATTS, R. C., Cleveland Works, Cleveland Road, Wolverhampton. July 11, 1935, No. 19779. [Class 110 (ii)] A roller vane pump has a rotor with two outer sheets 13 of hardened mild steel, and inner sheets 14, secured on a driving shaft 2 by riveting the end of the shaft. The vane slots are radial in the plates 13 but shaped according to the dotted lines 20, in the sheets 14, to allow fluid under pressure to enter the slots and force the vanes outwards. Inlet and outlet ports 10, 11, are provided. The pump may be supported by an extension 5 of an engine being supplied with oil by the pump. A steel liner 9 is provided.
