[Class 69 (i)] A liquid meter comprises a spherical measuring chamber 1 provided with a siphon 9 having its inlet near the lowest point of the chamber, and with a float 13 actuating a counter 15 through a push rod 14. A float 7 in a chamber 3 has a rod 6 passing through a sleeve 5 and controlling the inlet to the measuring chamber, a bell 8 being provided to surround the top of the sleeve.
