515,730. Gas burners. NEALE, J. E., and GUEST, A Sept. 30, 1938, No. 1024/39. Divided out of 508,010. [Class 75 (i)] A short tube 22, flattened at 'one end to form a narrow outlet slot 23, is screwed on the nipple 19, the screw-thread of which is interrupted by one or more grooves 26, flats or the like to form air outlet passages. Alternatively, the tube 22 may be a push fit on the grooved &c. nipple. The burner may be mounted on a gas supply pipe 12 by screwing the nipple on a tube 29, secured in the pipe and provided with inlet openings. Specifications 512,737, [Group XXIX], and 515,715, [Group XIII], are referred to.
