[Class 106 (i)] In a water or other fluid meter, the plate 12 which seals the indicating mechanism from the meter driving-mechanism also supports the ends of the spindles of the said indicating and driving mechanisms, the other ends of the spindles being supported by plates 21, 13- fixed to pillars 22, 16 moulded in one with the sealing plate. A boss may be moulded on the underside of the sealing plate to take the end of the shaft of the meter rotor 4. The sealing plate and pillars may be moulded from a substance containing graphite.
