468,273. Registering-mechanism. COMPAGNIE POUR LA FABRICATION DES COMPTEURS ET MATERIEL D'USINES A GAZ. Sept. 23, 1936, No. 25866. Convention date, Sept. 26, 1935. [Class 106 (i)] To alter the gear ratio of the registering mechanism of meters one of the gear elements is supported in a removable bearing on one of the supporting plates, the whole of the gears being arranged between two supporting plates. As shown, the meter drives a pinion C actuating the registering train of gears. The element P3, M3 of this train is mounted on a short spindle, one end of which is supported in one of the side plates B while the other end is supported in a bearing screw D on the other side plate A. The element P3, M3 may be removed and replaced by another element having different numbers of teeth but of the same diameter by unscrewing the bearing D.
