466,004. Rotary meters. COMPAGNIE DES COMPTEURS & MANOMETERS. Oct. 9. 1936, No. 27384. Convention date, Oct. 25, 1935. [Class 110 (ii)] Fluid to be metered flows from an inlet 2a to an outlet 2b and rotates a rotor 7 bv means of blades 5. A strainer 3 is fitted, and a bush 4 causes a speeding up of the fluid before it impinges on the blades. The rotor, which drives meter recording mechanism, may be placed with its shaft vertical at one side of the pipe 2. The blades 5 may extend only a small way across the cross-section of the pipe carrying the fluid.
