437,637. Rotary meters. WASSERMESSER-PATENT-GES., 44, Pariserstrasse, Berlin. June 21, 1935, No. 17922. Convention date, June 23, 1934. [Class 110 (ii)] A single-jet meter having a vaned rotor 6 arranged vertically is provided with fluid baffling ribs 1, 4, so arranged, that under forces derived from the fluid flowing through, the rotor is approximately supported floatingly in its bearings 3, 5. The number of ribs 1 is preferably half that of the ribs 4, and the member 7 rotated to find a position, experimentally, to secure the above effect.
