442,193. Directive wireless signalling. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C., 1, Lorenzweg, Tempelhof, Berlin. June 7, 1935, No. 16597. Convention date, May 17. Addition to 405,727. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (v)] In the parent Specification a dipole aerial is fed continuously with high frequency energy, suitably positioned reflectors being keyed to produce equi-signal zones for defining a course. According to the present modification, the reflector dipole or dipoles are shortened and loaded to tune them to the operating frequency. The distance between the reflecting and transmitting dipole is also reduced preferably to less than one tenth of a wavelength. The invention is stated to be applicable to reception.
