441,832. Transformers. BRITISH THOMSON - HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. April 20, 1934. No. 11971. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Oct. 22, 1934]. Drawings to Specification. [Class 38 (ii)] Transformer &c. cores are built up from laminations in which the magnetic properties have been so modified by heat treatment and cold rolling under pressure that the cores may be operated at flux densities in excess of the normal value without introducing excessive losses due to harmonic fluxes which would arise with high flux densities in material having a normal magnetic characteristic.
