439,514. Rain-excluders for doors. BARCLAY, J. A., 28, South Street, Greenock. June 13, 1934, No. 17449. [Class 20 (iii)] A rain-excluder for the bottom edges of outside doors consists of a pivoted plate A carried by plates secured to the vertical edges of the door. The plate drops over the face of the sill when the door is shut and rises into a rabbet in the bottom edge when open. A storm board B covers the rabbet. A vertical groove is formed in the jamb which is covered by the door and stop when the door is closed.
