438,467. Hose nozzles. PURSER, Ltd., G. & W., Palmer Street, Birmingham, and HUGHES, A. L., 41, Beckminster Road, Wolverhampton. June 26, 1934, No. 18775. [Classes 69 (iii) and 135] A nozzle or coupling for hoses and the like comprises a sliding outer nozzle b which is actuated by a trigger k to slide over the main part a and unseat a ball valve g by means of a hollow plunger h which has slots h<1> attached at its inner end to allow passage of the water. On release of the trigger the outer nozzle b is pressed outwards by a spring j and the valve g closes automatically under the water pressure.
