[Class 135] [See also Group XI] A thermostatic valve for a gas burner comprises a valve 13<a> formed or mounted on the end of a rod or tube 13 having a high coefficient of expansion which is arranged inside an outer tube or sleeve 8 of a lower coefficient of expansion. The valve controls the admission of the gas through a conical nozzle 1 into a mixing chamber 6 and co-operates with the large end of the said nozzle. Initial adjustment of the valve is obtained through the knob 12.
