[Class 78 (i)] [See also Groups VIII and IX] In apparatus for producing fibrous sheet material by superimposing several laps of unfelted, e.g. carded fibres on a conveyer, and subsequently impregnating, the conveyer consists of several narrow belts 21 connected by transverse bars 22 and covered by a sheet 23 having an uneven surface, e.g. produced by not stretching it, and may be vibrated, e.g. by the heads of rivets 24 engaging the surface of rolls 25.
