Abstract

760,177. Filters. BINZER, C. H., [trading as BINZER PAPIERFABRIK, J. C.]. July 29, 1954 [Aug. 13, 1953], No. 22179/54. Class 46. [Also in Group VIII] Moisture-resistant filter discs 2 to which a silicone may have been applied during manufacture are impregnated at 6 with synthetic resinous materials, and are removed by, and drained on, a conveyer 7, excess resin being expressed at 8, 9 and the discs being conveyed to a compartment at a temperature of, e.g. 100‹C. for drying, and to a compartment 15 at a higher temperature for hardening the resin. They are then received by a funnel 17 which aligns and stacks them on a pin 21. The discs 2 may be provided with a replaceable ply of moisture-resistant or hygroscopically-acting filter paper.
