434,959. Stair - carpet fasteners. HUDSON, L. G., 117, Curtain Road, London. March 12, 1934, No. 7826. [Class 52 (v)] A stair-carpet fastenei comprises a clamping arm a, hinged to an attachment bracket c and spring and slot means k, for securing the arm a in the closed position coacting between the arm a and bracket c and being released when desired by a lever p, pivoted to the arm a. The arm a is spring pressed to the open position by a spring q attached to the bracket c. The leaf spring k may if desired be secured to the arm a the corresponding slot n being then provided in the bracket c.
