432,986. Lancashire and like cylindrical boilers. DANKS & CO. (OLDBURY), Ltd., E., and HENRY, J., Oldbury Boiler Works, Oldbury, near Birmingham. Feb. 19, 1934, No. 5467. [Class 123 (ii)] Water-tubes 5 in the side flues of a Lancashire or like cylindrical shell boiler are connected to upper and lower headers 7, 6 extending along the flues and connected to the boiler water space by short ripples 8. Further water tubes 10 in the downtake connect the upper part of the boiler water space with a transverse header 11, which is connected to longitudinal headers 13 communicating with the lower part of the boiler through spaced short tubes 14.
