431,940. Weft feeler arrangements for looms. BUTTERWORTH & DICKINSON, Ltd., and PRIOR, A., Globe Works, Burnley, Lancashire. Jan. 18, 1934, No. 1749. [Class 142 (iii)] A weft feeler 1 is adjustably mounted on a holder 7 that is oscillatable on a shaft 8 by a cam - operated lever 15 and a spring 23, substantial exhaustion of weft permitting the feeler to enter a cavity in the pirn and position an arm 14 in the path of an abutment 17 on the weft fork lever or the change shaft. The arm 15, which is fixed on the shaft 8, and the holder 7 are formed on adjacent faces with relatively movable dogs 20 which co-operate to impart an upward movement to the feeler and the arm 14 is operated by an underlying arm 21 extending from the member 7. The arm 21 is connected to an adjustable rod 24 by the spring 23.
