506,181. Centre weft-fork stop-motions. BUTTERWORTH & DICKINSON, Ltd., and WILLIAMS, T. J. Nov. 26, 1937, No. 32604. [Class 142 (i)] The weft-fork slide G on tho slay H is operated by a rod M connecting the slide with the knocking off mechanism. As shown, the rod can slide through a stud N carried by the catch P<1> of the knocking-off lever R. Normally the stud N and rod M are held in the position shown by a spring Q. On weft failure the fork A locks the slide G and the catch P<1> then unlocks the lever R. As the slay H approaches the breast beam, the spring Q gives and the rod M<1> slides freely through the stud N. Specification 433,820 is referred to.
